Item Description
A 4.5 cm, stunning, large, pokerchip calcite crystal is the focal point of this dramatic calcite specimen from a very uncommon Chinese locale. All of the lustrous, translucent, pseudohexagonal, prismatic crystals have frosted, colorless, primary crystal faces with glassy, waterclear, edge faces showing the gray interiors of the crystals. These are very fine, sandwich-style calcite crystals and resemble Charcas, Mexico pokerchip calcites. The striking large pokerchip is pristine on the primary display side. Edgewear is noted on the backside of this impressive calcite crystal. Very uncommon and very showy material from this much less well-known locale. Ex Zukowski Collection. valued $750
