Item Description

An impressive and excellent LARGE CABNET specimen covered with thick, water-clear, tabular baryte spear-points from recent Chinese finds. Some of the blades have very nifty, sandwich-like, color-zoning, with water-clear, amber sides with translucent, snow-white interiors! Crystals reach 3.5 cm on this very showy piece and are highlighted by the striking sawtooth crystal cluster. For such a large and dense piece, very minimal bruising is noted. Uncommonly large, rich and showy material that is solid baryte from this limited find. The base has been sawed to enhance the display quality. Ex Zukowski Collection.
