Item Description

A surprising 2005 find of outstanding, colorful, gem colemanite crystals from this obscure Turkey borate mine. Highly lustrous, rootbeer-brown to golden-yellow to reddish-brown to colorless pseudo-octahedral colemanite crystals, to 1.5 cm, are festooned on the undulating granular colemanite matrix. These are certainly among the most attractive and colorful colemanite specimens to come to market in the recent past. Valued at $500.
