Colemanite on Calcite (rare, old CA classic) ex Minette

A very, very rare and superb style of colemanite on calcite from the famous Boron Pit. Clusters of very glassy, colorless colemanite blades are aesthetically scattered, some in striking enechelon growth, on the gorgeous large 3-dimensional mounded matrix of striking RARE spherical aggregates of juicy, translucent beautiful golden-yellow bladed calcite rhombs. Comes with a copy of the Jim Minette label with a 1984 date. Jim was an engineer and later mine manager at the U.S. Borax mines. He was also a well-known mineral dealer and very advanced collector. This is perhaps a UNIQUE calcite style (balls) with very rich orange color with colemanite from this noted locale, and so far as I know it all of the examples of this style were collected by Jim when he was the mine manager there in the 1980s. I have seen some over the years, and this would be considered a good one, very rich and large. A MUST for the locality or species collector but more than that, just something unusual and colorful! valued $750-950
