An impressive, colorful and sculptural small cabinet colemanite specimen from this famous borate mine, the world's largest borax mine. Yellow colemanite is the most desirable varietal from here and hardest to get. A striking mounded cluster of very sharp, glassy, rich yellow wedge shaped prisms crowns this artistic piece and rests on massive colorless colemanite. A small vug of yellow crystals on the lower left is a super accent. The yellow color is thought to be caused by pararealgar. A wonderful and rare yellow colemanite from here.
