Colemanite (ex Willard Wulff Collection) (collected by Ed Over)

A wonderfully formed specimen of sharp, lustrous, very gemmy, off-white / pale golden colored Colemanite from Death Valley, California. Good condition all around and showy for the species. This specimen comes from the collection of Willard W. Wulff (1904-1998) of Colorado Springs, Colorado, a prominent figure and collector of Colorado minerals. Wulff was one of the founding members of the Colorado Springs Mineralogical Society in 1936. The piece comes with a typed label from Wulff that says it was collected by legendary field collector and fellow CSMS founder, Edwin Over!
