Colemanite

Item Description

For the species, this is rather an amazing cluster of crystals. The well-formed Colemanites are gemmy and have the seeming appearance of bladed scalenohedrons. These range up to an impressive 5 cm, and the quality of the crystallization is superb all the way around. The luster on the crystals is excellent, and the color ranges from clear to white. The locality is now closed and not producing specimens for collectors. Certainly this is one of the better Colemanite clusters I have seen.
