Item Description
Gemmy, very glassy colorless pseudo-octahedral colemanite crystals, to 2.1 cm, totally cover the large undulating, mounded plate on spare matrix. This outstanding and significant specimen is from the historic most important mines for the species in Death Valley, the Type Locality for colemanite. Essentially pristine. An exceptional 360-degree specimen with very gemmy crystals with only a bit of basal periphery wear on one end. These were collected in the 1970s and 80s. Ex Bob Reynolds Collection.
