Item Description
Sharp, glassy light pink cobaltoan smithsonite scalenohedrons, to 2.1 cm, with a glassy nifty looking cyclically-twinned cerussite crystal are aesthetically clustered atop the miniature matrix plate on this classic and excellent combination from the famed Tsumeb Mine. There is also a 1.6 cm doubly terminated smithsonite on the matrix as a bonus. And there is more cyclically-twinned cerussite on the back. Purchased in 1976 from the Zweibels. Ex Ed Ruggiero Collection. Only one owner in 50 years! It is a sparkling, sharp, very fine miniature of this rare style. Valued $1000-1250
