A very sculptural, 3-dimensional crust of glassy and translucent, oxide-tinted, pretty pastel-pink cobaltoan smithsonite rhombs covers the granular mother rock sulfide matrix on this desirable, showy and aesthetic small cabinet example of this varietal from famed Tsumeb. The oxide coating is preferential. Looking on one side shows the true pretty pink color of the rhombs. Better in person.
