An impressive, large and colorful compound cobaltoan calcite small cabinet from the copper mines of Kolwezi. Dramatic opposing clusters of lustrous, translucent, sharp pink scalenohedrons cover the front of the shocking, massive vivid pink layered cobaltoan calcite. Embedded and included seams of of the rare anhydrous Cu-Co carbonate, Kolwezite, are fine and rare accessories. Combination specimens of this color, richness, style and quality are RARE from the famous mines of Kolwezi and this is an excellent example.
