Item Description

Bands of vivid, variably pink cobaltoan calcite rest atop rest atop white and gray calcite bands on this striking and colorful specimen from this obscure and extinct locality. The calcite has intense, wet-look luster and is beautifully translucent. Rarely available material from the Carl Bentley Collection. Interestingly, no fluorescence.
