A gorgeous, amazingly vivid pink, translucent and lustrous cobaltoan calcite rhomb from this classic locale. Complete all-around and pristine, the crystal rests on a shard of matrix. Some side faces may be contacted, but there is no damage, per se. Specimens are seldom on the market today and well-formed rhombs, such as this, are RARE. Ex Dixon and Tom Wolfe Collections.
