Item Description
Amazing color on this very sculptural curved small cabinet from recent finds at the Wenshan area (probably actually nearby but not from where the others are from.... but we do not have an exact locality on these that have trickled out sparsely for a few years). Banded vivid pink translucent cobaltoan calcite is strikingly flanked by sparkly bubbly aragonite botryoids. This combination has a surreal visual aspect. Certainly a unique looking and colorful combination from the cave deposits at Wenshan. Purchased in China, in 2018, directly! The vibrant pink color saturation and specimen form are remarkable.
