Item Description

A wonderful small cabinet specimen of flashy, good sized, sharp, well-formed, purplish-pink crystals of the very desirable cobaltoan variety of Calcite. One of the most classic localities for the material, which has produced arguably some of the best specimens in the world. Virtually undamaged on the display side, save the periphery where it was removed from the pocket wall. Priced at $1500 in our inventory, and I would say worth more today based upon size, quality and overall appeal.
