Item Description
One of the most desirable varietals worldwide for Calcite are these bright pink Cobaltoan examples from Morocco, and the recent past has seen some of the finest batches ever. This specimen hosts excellent quality, sharp, well-formed, lustrous, translucent, beautiful pink color, trigonal Cobaltoan Calcite crystals measuring up to 8 mm sitting on matrix. The central crystals are all in really good shape, though the periphery is obviously contacted where the specimen was removed from the pocket wall. Beautiful color, and very distinctive in the mineral world.
