One of the most desirable varietals worldwide for Calcite are these bright pink Cobaltoan examples from Morocco, and the recent past has seen some of the finest batches ever. This specimen hosts superb quality, sharp, well-formed, lustrous, gemmy, intense neon pink Cobaltoan Calcite rhombs measuring up to 5 mm on the underlying matrix. Pristine, except for the periphery wear. The color is about as strong as it gets for the material and it looks fantastic in person. Valued at $900 for quality and amazingly intense color.
