Item Description

The good supply of minerals from the Congo should not blind you to the value of the best specimens. This beautiful miniature sized display piece features wonderful, sharp, lustrous, intense pink Cobaltoan Calcite rhombohedra on matrix. Great quality, hard to find on the market right now, and certainly worthwhile for any collector. The largest rhomb measures 9 mm. The label accompanying this piece states that it was donated by Wright's Rock Shop in 2003 at the Tucson Gem and Mineral Show for the benefit of Rocks and Minerals color fund.
