Item Description
Eye-catching specimen of the well-known cobaltoan calcite from Morocco. The gemmy and lustrous crystals, which range up to about 2.0 cm in stacked, nailhead rhombs, have the famous vivid pink color that Bou Azzer cobaltoan calcites are famous for. There is a bit of edge wear to one crystal, but you simply do not find this quality color often, in any mineral, and so it is acceptable in context of size and price. Many of the stacked clusters have striking, color-zoned, "eyes" in their terminations. Very nifty!
