Item Description
Beautiful, translucent, waxy lustre vivid pink elongated cobaltoan calcite botryoids cover the sculptural 3-dimensional miniature on contrasting white aragonite matrix on this showy and excellent miniature from a 2018 find at this less-well-known Chinese locale (formerly attributed to Wenshan County, now known to be from ZhenKang County). The aragonite formations are actually cave helectites. Purchased in China, direct from the miners! The vibrant pink color saturation and specimen form are remarkable. This would brighten up any display!
