Item Description
This is a way above average, larger specimen of this species and locale and will brighten up any collection. IT IS VIVIDLY wet-looking, neon-pink, and gorgeous. Crystals of cobaltoan calcite cover this incredibly striking specimen from recent finds at Bou Azzer, Morocco. The color and luster on this piece is top notch for the locale and varietal. A trivial bit of bruising and modest periphery wear are noted, but are certainly only minimally detracting. The piece overall is a robust and 3-dimensional specimen, and screams color first. Then you get to looking and notice it is made up of big fat crystals (not the usual smaller, disclike crystals). It is dramatic enough that it would fit in any collection. Valued at $1000-1500
