A sharp, lustrous and bronzy, 8 mm, modified cobaltite cube is jauntily set on massive pyrrhotite matrix from a classic Sweden locality - Hakansboda. This is an OLD mine, opened in the 17th century and worked until 1873, with only minor mining during World War I. An excellent example of the species and locality. A pristine crystal on this fine old-timer. Ex Will Henderson Collection, a well-known, longtime mineral author and collector. He was formerly a columnist for the Mineralogical Record.
