Item Description
An extremely sharp, lustrous and bronzy, 1.1 cm, cobaltite cube is jauntily set on sulfide matrix from a classic Sweden locality - Hakansboda. This is an OLD mine, opened in the 17th century and worked until 1873, with only minor mining during World War I. Highly representative of the species and locality. A very lightly bruised corner is certainly not much of a detraction on this fine old-timer. Ex Stig Adolfsson and Robert Whitmore (# 565) Collections.
