Sharp, brilliant silver-metallic crystals to 7 mm are attractively scattered on three sides of the mounded matrix, that includes much richly iridescent chalcopyrite. A few broken cobaltite crystals to 7 mm are noted on the matrix. The old Foote label dates from 1877-1890. Classic, old-time and rich material from this historic district where mining took place intermittently from about 1420 to about 1890! Valued at $750.
