COLOR COLOR COLOR?.what more can you say? This new find here, it has shocking color beyond anything this mine or any other has ever produced in the past for cobaltian calcite. For that matter, I would go so far as to say this is the most shocking pink color I have ever seen in the mineral world, period. It DOES look fake, I admit. But it is real, just a novel new pocket from a mine that has slowly been trickling out specimens for a few years now. Mass is 436 grams - this is a hefty specimen with impact all around.
