Item Description
Sharp crystals of classic soft pink Smithsonite like this can only be from Tsumeb and were found in the late 1960s and in the 1970s. Several, almost hedgehog-like knobs of translucent crystals from 2 to 4 mm cover this showy small cabinet piece. The knobs are mounded up somewhat on this distinctly three-dimensional piece and it is very displayable all around and sits well on its own. The quality is high because of the shape, condition, lovely color, and unusual translucency.
