Item Description
A couple of stout, rather large, soft-looking pink Smithsonite crystals comprise this distinctly Tsumeb Smithsonite probably recovered in the late 1960s and in the 1970s. This is a very robust, three-dimensional cluster of lustrous, translucent, intergrown crystals of pastel pink, Cobaltian Smithsonite to 1.8 cm in maximum dimension. There is even a sliver of brownish matrix in association for added interest and contrast. Superb thumbnail specimen of this style of robust crystals! Erika Pohl was particularly proud of her Tsumeb thumbnail suite.
