Well-formed and an attractive, uniformly pink color, this miniature cluster is from the famous Mupine Mine, from 1980s finds of sharp and elongated scalenohedra still considered to be the very best specimens of this style in the world for color and size and crystal habit.. Scalenohedral and up to 1.6 cm tall, the Calcites are GEMMY and lustrous. Really, with that sharp form and and pink color, they resemble great Rose Quartz crystals! Together, the crystals create an attractive alpine vista on a 3 dimensional miniature. Please note that (only) one forward-facing crystal has been cleaved, but it has little effect on the overall aesthetics since this piece displays perfectly as it sits.
