Item Description
One of the most desirable varietals worldwide for Calcite are these bright pink Cobaltoan examples from Morocco, and in the last few years, we've seen some of the finest batches ever. This specimen hosts excellent quality, sharp, well-formed, lustrous, gemmy/translucent beautiful pink color, trigonal Cobaltoan Calcite crystals measuring up to 7 mm sitting on matrix. The central crystals are all in really good shape, though the periphery is obviously contacted where the specimen was removed from the pocket wall. Beautiful color, and very distinctive in the mineral world. Priced at $1,500 in the inventory.
