Item Description
A thick crust of vivid pink, bubbly, botryoidal, nubby, translucent cobalt-bearing calcite covers the sculptural, large matrix crust. The calcite GLOWS with rich color, when backlit. The piece is from recent finds at the cave karsts of the Wenshan Mine. The riches of the pink color is noteworthy. The noted periphery wear is a minimal detraction to this colorful and showy specimen. Purchased in China, direct from the miners!
