Item Description

The specimen is a huge neon pink color bomb that you can see across a room! It is a gorgeous, large piece of hot pink Cobalt-bearing Calcite with high color saturation for this noted locality. This elongate plate has an overall rounded surface covered in hundreds of tightly grouped, bright magenta-pink, translucent, scintillating crystals of Cobalt-bearing Calcite. The rounded mounds are almost transparent as you can see right into the beautiful pink Calcite. It is almost perfect, with just a few small bruises or rubbing, trivial in context. The color of this piece is just mesmerizing and just glows with that sumptuous magenta-pink color! This is a great larger specimen of the material that just pops in any display!
