Fluorite ps. Calcite

Here is a cluster of over a dozen impressive, lavender-colored Fluorite ps. Calcite crystals to one inch in size that simply look puzzling at first glance - like no other you have seen from here. The crystals are sharply zoned with a distinct, glassy, transparent-shaped triangle at the core on some, followed by another, larger, more prominent, triangular-shaped zone that is itself surrounded by a 5 mm thick, exterior, translucent to opaque rim - all for eye-catching geometric effect! Clusters of this color and zoning have been the exception here at Bou Azzer. This lavender-pink color is unusual as well. The whole piece is strange, but mesmerizing with a unique combination of shape and pattern! We originally had this labeled as Cobalt-bearing Calcite but it turns out these are Fluorite ps. Calcite!
