Clinozoisite (rare)

Item Description

Clinozoisite is rarely seen in gem quality material. The species forms an isomorphic series with Epidote and Zoisite. This stone has a distinct hue for Clinozoisite, almost a "straw" color, but truly does not show any pleochroism like Epidote. The lack of pleochroism is one of the better ways to tell that it is truly Clinozoisite. This is actually well-documented material, and some of the best gem grade Clinozoisite to hit the market. The stone is VVS in clarity with a "Trillion Brilliant" cut.
