Clinohumite specimens are rare from the well-known Hunza Valley. This fine and showy combination piece is highlighted by the 1.3 cm, sharp, lustrous, deep purple, spinel crystal aesthetically set at the crown on a large, lustrous, yellow-orange, clinohumite crystal. The back of the piece reveals, that this is a very large, 3.9 x 3.5 cm crystal with zones of good gemminess. The sugary marble matrix gives the piece character and contrast.
