Item Description

Clinoenstatite is a rare Pyroxene Group species and is rare from any worldwide locality. It is very rare from the deposits of the Astor Valley. Sharp, highly lustrous, dark olive-green crystals have a beautiful translucent shimmer in bright light and form a classy cluster. Leave it to intrepid Himalaya specialist, Herb Obodda, to find such a rarity. Ex. Herb Obodda dealer stock. They remind me of classic Green Monster Mountain, Alaska epidotes.
