Item Description
This specimen which consists mostly of solid gorgeous kammererite (a variety of chromium rich clinochlore) is highlighted by its rich, vivid, magenta color. Several lustrous and slightly translucent crystals, to 6 mm across, are scattered on the display surface. A fine reference specimen from this old classic find of the 1960s an d1970s (see Bancroft's book, Gem & Crystal treasures!). Seldom seen on the market today, this is indeed a historic mineral classic!
