Cleavelandite w/ Lepidolite & Tourmaline (Lemanski Coll.)

Item Description

Striking intergrown opposing parallel-growth clusters of glassy, translucent, large light pastel-green cleavelandite blades form a most sculptural and impressive large combination from a Minas Gerais pegmatite. The "tail" of coated lilac lepidolite plates is a fine complement and accessory. The attachment on the back reveals the high luster of the lepidolite and a couple of green tourmaline sections. A bit of bruising to some of the cleavelandite blades is certainly only a modest detraction to this very showy and rich piece of this common pegmatite accessory.
