Item Description
Himalaya Mine "cityscape" tourmalines are so called by the impressive multiple terminations, that resemble dense skyscrapers in a large city. These were never common and are always highly desirable. This striking and colorful bi-colored example has a lot going for it: sculptural form with variable terminations with classic "Himalaya pink" tips above the light grass-green body; fantastically embedded smaller tourmalines near the terminations; dynamic fluted and flattened form of the 360-degree crystal with fine gemminess, high glassy luster and supremely striated parallel-growth crystals. Complete all-around and in great shape. Part of the secondary termination is contacted, but has no damage, per se. One lower side car in the front has a bruised tip and one spot of side wear are noted, but these certainly have only minimal impact to the overall high entrancing quality of this adorable and uncommon Himalaya tourmaline. Older material from the 1980s finds. 38 grams mass.
