Item Description

A classic and beautiful, large, color-zoned fluorite crystal cluster from the famous Minerva #1 Mine of Illinois. The striking, sharp, blue and violet edge phantoms and the large cube with a face entirely purple really accentuate the golden-amber interiors on these glassy crystals with nifty stepped-growth and lightly frosted faces. The photos really show off the fabulous color zoning. The large cube is 4.3 x 4.0 cm. The largest crystals are pristine and the periphery wear along one edge is only a modest detraction. Highly representative and colorful material from this famous locale with several fine display views.
