Item Description
An outstanding older bi-colored Himalaya Mine tourmaline from mid-1980s finds. This gemmy doubly termimated floater is dramatically accented with the cleavelandite corsage. The frosted apple-green complex pyramidal termination on one end is underlain by a gorgeous, gemmy, 5 mm teal-blue section. A classic 2.0 cm "Himalaya pink" zone follows. The body is a gemmy olive-green followed by a very gemmy 7 mm light green section. The very nifty triangular pinacoidal termination with frosted faces on this end is a rich rose-pink. Essentially pristine, with only trivial bruising to one limb of the cleavelandite "corsage." An exceptional bi-colored Himalaya tourmaline by any standard. Ex Pala International Collection. 71 grams mass. Fairly valued at $3500 and worth it. BETTER IN PERSON!!!
