Citrine on Quartz (Russian - rare)

Item Description

This is a dramatic and excellent specimen of three citrines aesthetically set on either side of two jauntily angled, parallel-growth, contacted on both ends, milky quartz crystals. The citrines, to 5.8 cm, are very gemmy, with the beautiful and distinctive golden-yellow color peculiar to the best Russian citrines. The citrines grade into milky quartz at their bases and are all pristine. There is green chlorite included in both the citrines and milky quartz crystals. From a small find in 2005 and rarely available.
