Item Description
Russian citrine specimens are very difficult to come by. This is a dramatic and beautiful specimen of two citrines jauntily set on a complete all-around, sculptural compound cluster of milky quartz crystals. The crystals, to 3.6 cm, are very gemmy, with the beautiful and distinctive golden-yellow color peculiar to the best Russian citrines. The primary citrine is pristine, while the second citrine has only trivial sidewear. The citrines grade into milky quartz at their bases. The top of the quartz is paritally contacted, but you can hardly tell. From a small find in 2005, according to the label. Valued at $600-800.
