Item Description

Citrine from Charcas is very uncommon and this very showy and excellent citrine-coated danburite crystal came out of a few small pockets around 2002-2003. The very fine glassy, translucent, danburite crystal has textbook form with a sharp chisel termination and highly desirable light pink color with a water-clear, gem, crackly, termination. Tiny, light straw-yellow citrine crystals richly cover the back, with nicely accenting clusters spilling over onto the front of the piece. Complete all-around and pristine. The contact at the base of the front, where another crystal once lay, has no damage, per se. Excellent and rare combination material from the Cynthia Payne Collection.
