Item Description

Citrine is the yellow variety of Quartz, but the vast majority of what you find on the market is not completely natural in color. A lot of the darker Citrines you'll find once started out either as Amethyst or Smoky Quartz and have been heated in order to change their color to yellow. This stone however has not been treated, and is completely natural in color. The gem has an "Oval Brilliant" cut with very very slight inclusions and a gentle yellow hue. The stone is from Brazil, likely near the Araçuaí region.
