Item Description

Here we have a lovely, nearly perfectly calibrated, natural/untreated Citrine from Brazil. I will point out that gem quality, natural Citrines are much rarer than some people might realize. Most Citrine gems you'll find for sale are actually heated to either create or enhance the color, and naturally occurring yellow stones are hard to find. Typically Amethyst gems are heated to turn them yellow, and since there's an abundance of gem grade Amethyst on the market, it's easy enough to "turn" them into Citrine. Even though NATURAL Citrine is much harder to find their Amethyst counterparts, they are not nearly as sought after. This stone is an unheated/untreated Citrine gem with an "emerald" cut and is virtually eye clean.
