Citrine (LARGE natural UN-heated stone)

This is a superb, incredibly beautiful and fine quality, large Citrine gem from Brazil. The most significant aspect of this stone to me is that this is a NATURAL Citrine gem with a pale golden yellow color and virtually eye-clean clarity. Citrine may be well-known among gem dealers and collectors, but the majority of the material on the market has been treated to enhance or even CREATE the yellow color. This stone is completely natural and un-heated / un-treated, making it all the more desirable for collectors. Citrine gems typically are not seen in this size, considering that this gem is over 400 carats (!!), it's very impressive for the material. The cut on the stone is a beautiful "Portuguese Pear". Truly a museum stone, or a magnificent center stone for a outrageous piece of jewelry, or it would stand alone as a stellar "doorknob" gem to add to your collection.
For reference, the legitimate retail price on this stone is $18,173.25 ($45/carat).
