Almost all of the Brazilian Citrines gems that you'll find on the market have been heated to turn them yellow. These stones often start out as Amethyst, and through heating at the right temperature over a period of time, they will turn yellow. This stone has been heated, and has a strong golden-yellow hue with nearly eye clean clarity with a lovely "Rectangle" cut.
