Item Description

A really attractive piece of this contemporary classic material of Citrine from the Mansa District. I don't know if more specimens are still being found, but I do know that good ones are few and far between these days. This piece features a group of sharp, lustrous, gemmy crystals which range in color from a soft golden hue to a strong red color due to iron oxide inclusions. Every crystal is terminated, and a couple are doubly-terminated. No major damage anywhere, save the base of the piece where it detached from the pocket wall. A showy and eye-catching specimen of this seldom seen material. This one is special for the simple fact that it's not a solitary prism, as multiple intergrown crystals like this is not terribly common in my experience.
