Most Citrines on the market today are heated to either create or enhance the color, and naturally occuring yellow stones are hard to find. This stone is more than likely a heated gem that was once Amethyst. With that said, this stone is good sized, with nice color saturation and good cutting. It is virtually eye clean with a "Hexagon" cut.
