Cinnabar on Quartz and Dolomite

A fine, 1.3 x 1.1 cm cluster of lustrous, interpenetrating, firey-red cinnabar crystals is aesthetically set on the very sculptural, 3-dimenstional matrix of glassy quartz crystals and lustrous, tan dolomite rhombs. A near floater specimen, with only one point of contact. Excellent and very showy combination material from this locale, as most Chinese cinnabars are from Tongren.
